Information we collect

Toucan collects information you provide when you create an account or workspace, describe your company’s office needs, save or comment on properties, request a tour, communicate with the brokerage team, or upload material for authorized review.

• Account information, including your name, email address, authentication identifiers, and organization membership.
• Search and workplace information, including timing, headcount, location, budget, preferences, shortlists, tour requests, and feedback.
• Files, property materials, messages, and other content submitted to Toucan.
• Technical and security information needed to operate the service, such as device, request, authentication, and audit-log data.

How we use information

• Provide, personalize, secure, and improve the Toucan service.
• Match workplace requirements with commercial real-estate opportunities and coordinate brokerage follow-up and tours.
• Maintain accurate records, investigate misuse, and protect users, properties, and the service.
• Communicate about your workspace, requests, service changes, and support needs.

How information is shared

Toucan does not sell personal information. We share information with the authorized brokerage team serving your workspace, with members of your organization according to their permissions, and with service providers that operate Toucan on our behalf. These providers currently include Clerk for authentication, Supabase for database and private file services, Vercel for hosting, and Google when you choose Google sign-in.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Data retention and choices

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, support the brokerage relationship, meet legal and operational obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal, or brokerage recordkeeping purposes.

Security and access

Toucan uses access controls, environment separation, private storage, and other safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access or disclosure will never occur. Do not share your account credentials, and notify us promptly if you suspect misuse.

Children and changes

Toucan is a business service and is not directed to children under 18. We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date and, when appropriate, communicated through the service.
